R. G. LeTourneau’s Earth Moving company was incorporated in California as “R.G. LeTourneau, Inc.”

1953-1955

Sold to Westinghouse Air Brake Company.

1972

Sold to Marathon Manufacturing Company.

1974

Baker Marine Corporation (BMC) was founded.

1980

Baker Marine Pte Ltd (BMPL) commenced in Singapore as a subsidiary of BMC.

1984

BMC’s proprietary designs for rigs, platforms, and equipment transferred to BMPL.

1994

Sold to Rowan.

1994

(OTD) is set up under Keppel for the development of critical jackup equipment.

1995

BMPL acquired by PPL Shipyard Pte Ltd.

1997

William T. Bennett, Jr., (former CEO of Friede & Goldman) established Bennett & Associates.

1997

OTD embarks on jackup rid design. FELS, renamed Keppel FELS, acquires the rights to the f&G MOD V and MOD VI designs.

1998

OTD works closely with Bennett on the B-Class design.

2001

Sembcorp Marine acquired 50% of PPL.

2011

Sold to Joy Global which was acquired by Komatsu Mining Corp. Drilling, Marine, and Power divisions then sold to Cameron Internation.

2012

Keppel acquires Bennet and Associates, renames as Bennett Offshore.

2016

Sembcorp Marine fully acquired 100% of PPL.

2016

Keppel acquires LeTourneau Offshore Products (jackups, cranes, and elevating units).

2020

LeT absorbs Bennet Offshore.

2022

SCM – KOM merger announced.

2023

Merger completed, renamed as Seatrium.
